What does “website health” mean?
Your website’s health score is a single number, out of 100, that summarizes how well your site is doing across seven areas that affect whether people can find it, use it, and trust it: SEO, technical SEO, performance, mobile usability, content, accessibility, and security basics. Rather than one giant checklist, AuditLixa scores each of those seven categories on its own, then averages them into one overall health score—so a strong site with one weak spot is easy to spot at a glance.
What counts as a healthy score
90–100: Good
Most or all checks are passing. Any remaining findings are usually minor polish rather than something actively hurting you.
70–89: Needs attention
The basics are mostly in place, but there are gaps worth fixing—often a handful of warnings rather than critical failures.
Below 70: At risk
One or more categories has real problems—commonly a missing title tag, a blocked robots.txt, or no HTTPS—that are actively working against you in search and with visitors.
Category scores matter too
A good overall score can still hide one weak category. Always check the per-category breakdown, not just the headline number.
Every finding behind your score is also labeled Critical, Warning, or Passed, with a plain-language explanation of what it means and how to fix it—see How to Read Your Website Audit Report and What to Fix First for a full walkthrough.
The seven categories behind your health score
Each category score comes from a fixed set of real checks run against your page’s live response—not an estimate. Full detail on every individual check is on our Features page.

A site’s health score isn’t fixed—a plugin update, a theme change, an expired SSL certificate, or a redesign can quietly knock out an HTTPS header or a canonical tag without any visible symptom. Checking periodically (Pro and Agency plans remove the Free plan’s two-audits-per-day limit, which makes this practical to do on a schedule) catches that kind of regression before it costs you rankings or visitors.
Keep in mind your score reflects your homepage, fetched live at that moment—run the check again after any change. AuditLixa checks the homepage only, so other important pages need to be reviewed separately.
