Refund Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing issues are handled for AuditLixa’s paid Pro ($19/month) and Agency ($49/month) subscription plans. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, which governs your subscription generally.
1. Payment processor and Merchant of Record
All payments for Pro and Agency subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), who acts as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. This means your purchase is legally a transaction between you and Paddle, and Paddle handles billing, invoicing, tax (VAT/sales tax), and payment-related inquiries on our behalf, alongside the support we provide directly.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your Pro or Agency subscription at any time by contacting us through our Contact page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period—you’ll keep access to your plan’s features until then, and you will not be charged again after your cancellation is processed. Cancelling does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless one of the situations below applies.
3. Refund requests
Because Pro and Agency give you immediate, ongoing access to unlimited audits and premium features, subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. That said, we review refund requests case-by-case, and are generally willing to issue a full or partial refund where:
- You were charged but never received access to the plan you paid for due to a technical issue on our end;
- You accidentally subscribed and contact us within a reasonable time (typically 48 hours) without having meaningfully used the paid features; or
- There’s a billing error, such as being charged the wrong amount or for the wrong plan.
To request a refund, contact us via our Contact page with your account email and, if possible, the receipt or order ID from Paddle. Since Paddle is the Merchant of Record, approved refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method, and can take several business days to appear depending on your bank or card provider.
4. Duplicate or accidental payments
If you’re charged more than once for the same billing period—for example, due to a double checkout submission or a subscription mix-up—let us know via our Contact page as soon as you notice it. We’ll investigate with Paddle and refund any duplicate charge in full once confirmed.
5. Failed or declined payments
If a renewal payment fails or is declined, Paddle may automatically retry the charge over the following days. If payment still can’t be collected, your subscription may be paused and your account downgraded to the Free plan until a valid payment method is provided and payment succeeds. We don’t charge cancellation or reactivation fees in this situation—you can simply resubscribe once you’re ready.
6. Price changes and renewals
Pro and Agency renew automatically each month at the price in effect for your plan. If we change subscription pricing, it will only apply prospectively to future renewals, and where required we’ll provide advance notice before your next charge at the new price.
7. How to reach us
For anything related to billing, cancellations, refunds, or a payment you don’t recognize, contact us through our Contact page and we’ll get back to you as quickly as we can.
