Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AuditLixa (“AuditLixa”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use auditlixa.com (the “Site”) and its website audit tool, including our Free, Pro, and Agency plans (together, the “Service”).
1. Information the audit tool processes
When you enter a URL and run an audit, AuditLixa’s server fetches the public homepage of that URL, along with its HTTP response headers, robots.txt file, and sitemap.xml (if present)—the same information any web browser or search engine would see by visiting that page. This request is made in real time to run your report and is not compiled into a permanent, searchable database of every website anyone has audited.
2. Account information
If you create an AuditLixa account, we collect the email address and password you register with (your password is stored in encrypted/hashed form, never in plain text). We also store your current plan (Free, Pro, or Agency) and basic account activity, such as audit history tied to your account, so we can provide the Service to you.
3. Subscription, billing, and payment processing
Paid Pro and Agency subscriptions are billed and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our order reseller and Merchant of Record for all subscription purchases. When you subscribe, Paddle collects and processes your payment details directly—including your card or payment method, billing name, billing address, and email address—through its own secure, PCI-compliant checkout. AuditLixa does not receive, see, or store your full card number or other sensitive payment credentials at any time.
After a successful purchase, Paddle shares limited transaction information with us so we can activate and manage your subscription, including: your Paddle customer ID and subscription ID, the plan and price you purchased, your subscription status (active, canceled, paused, or past due), and renewal/billing dates. We use this information solely to grant, maintain, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your access to Pro or Agency features, and to provide billing-related support if you contact us.
Because Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, your purchase is legally a transaction between you and Paddle, and Paddle’s own Privacy Policy and Buyer Terms govern how your payment and billing data is collected, processed, and retained by Paddle, including for invoicing, tax (e.g. VAT/sales tax) compliance, and fraud prevention. Paddle’s registered address is 30 Old Bailey, London, EC4M 7AY, United Kingdom.
4. Information you provide directly
If you use our Contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you submit, solely to respond to your inquiry (including billing questions, plan changes, or cancellation requests). We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.
5. Cookies and local storage
The Site uses WordPress’s standard functional cookies where applicable (including a login session cookie for account holders), and your browser’s local session storage to temporarily hold your most recent audit result so it can be displayed on the results page. When you open the checkout page for Pro or Agency, Paddle’s checkout may set its own cookies or use local storage to process your order securely and prevent fraud; this is governed by Paddle’s own privacy practices. We do not otherwise use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
6. Third-party service providers
We share limited information with the following third parties strictly to operate the Service:
- Paddle.com Market Limited — payment processing, subscription billing, tax collection/remittance, and order-related customer support, as described in Section 3.
- Google Fonts — fonts used on this Site are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive the visitor’s IP address as part of that standard request.
- Hosting infrastructure (Hostinger) — our hosting and content-delivery provider, which processes standard web server logs and cached content to serve the Site.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
7. Data retention
Audit results are held in your browser’s session storage and are not permanently retained on our servers. Account information (email, plan, subscription status) is retained for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you wish to reactivate it or as needed to resolve billing disputes. Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry. Paddle independently retains transaction and billing records for as long as required by applicable law (e.g. tax and accounting obligations), separately from AuditLixa’s own retention practices.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you (such as your account email or Contact form submissions) by reaching out via our Contact page, including requests to cancel a subscription or close your account. Please note that deleting your AuditLixa account does not automatically cancel or refund an active Paddle subscription, and that Paddle, as Merchant of Record, may be required to retain certain transaction records even after an account is closed to meet its own legal and tax obligations. Depending on your location, you may also have additional rights under applicable data protection law (such as the right to data portability or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority).
9. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect information submitted to us, and payment data is handled exclusively by Paddle’s PCI-compliant infrastructure rather than our own servers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our subscription plans or payment processor. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
12. Contact us
Questions about this Privacy Policy, or about your account, subscription, or billing, can be sent through our Contact page.
